Who is Tata group?

Tata group is an Indian group with its roots around the globe, it engages with the manufacturing of automobiles, airplanes, and many other things.

It was founded by Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata in 1868(153 years old) it’s headquarters are in Mumbai, India.

Who is Ratan Tata?

Ratan Tata is an Indian industrialist and the chairman of Tata Sons ( owner of Tata group), he was also the chairman of Tata group from 1990 to 2012.

He has received two civilian awards Padma vibhushan in 2008 and Padma bhushan in 2000.

Charity donations by Tata:

Total donations made is Jamshedji Tata is $102.4 billion. He is the biggest philanthropist in the last century.

66% of the Tata group is held by Tata trust which supports philanthropic work of the trust.

Who will take Tata group after him?

Cyrus Mistry is going to takeover Ratan Tata but it is also not compulsory because their legal case is running in Supreme Court.
